MCP connector
Throo inside Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Add HrThroo as a custom connector in any assistant that supports remote MCP servers. The assistant gets Throo's tools, under the same rules: anything that goes live waits for your Confirm in HrThroo.
How the connector works
It is the same list of tools as Throo's chat, signed in as you and limited to the workspace you allowed.
- 01
Add the address
Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors, in developer mode. Cursor: add it as a remote MCP server.
- 02
Sign in and allow it
The assistant signs in through HrThroo with OAuth. Every connection goes through a consent screen that names the assistant and the workspace, and it stays bound to that workspace.
- 03
What an assistant can read and build
It reads your jobs, candidates, screening evidence, calls, interviews and reports, and sets up jobs, criteria proposals and candidates, acting as you. Each tool call that works uses one of your monthly Throo replies.
- 04
Going live needs your Confirm
Starting screening, moving a candidate, contacting one or sharing with a client returns a Confirm link and a bell notification. Nothing happens until you open the link and press Confirm in HrThroo.
The connector address
Step by step, with what to expect on each screen: Connect Throo to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
What it never does
These are product rules, not settings.
- Let an assistant confirm its own action. There is no confirm tool, so an assistant set to always allow still can't go live.
- Do anything your own account in HrThroo couldn't. It acts as you, with your role and your plan.
- Follow instructions written inside a CV, a transcript or a client note. They are read as information.
