CV screening
Screening you can check, line by line
HrThroo screens every CV against criteria you approved, and for each criterion it quotes the part of the CV that meets it. Where the CV doesn't back a claim up, it says so.
How a CV gets screened
The AI does the first read. Your recruiters read its reasons, not the whole pile, and make the call.
- 01
You approve the criteria first
Paste a job description and the AI proposes must-have and nice-to-have criteria. Edit, add or remove any of them. Nothing is screened until you approve the list.
- 02
CVs arrive however you have them
Upload PDF and DOCX files in bulk, import a CSV from a job board export, or share the job's public apply page. Every route ends in the same queue.
- 03
Each criterion gets a status and a quote
Met, partial or insufficient evidence, with the sentence from the CV that shows it. A skill that's only listed, with nothing behind it, is marked insufficient evidence rather than believed.
- 04
A person decides
The review queue sorts candidates by the evidence. A recruiter approves them for a phone screen, holds them, or sets them aside, and the decision is recorded with their name.
What it never does
These are product rules, not settings.
- Reject, shortlist or submit a candidate on its own. Every decision is made by a named person.
- Screen against criteria nobody approved.
- Treat a claim as met without a quote from the CV to show for it.
- Use CVs to train AI models or build datasets.
